After dominating the first half, Manchester United made the worst possible start to the second in their Premier League clash with Burnley at Turf Moor on Tuesday evening.
Leading 1-0 at the break through Paul Pogba's first goal of the season, United were pegged back just two minutes after the restart through Jay Rodriguez.
The Clarets striker latched onto Wout Weghorst's reverse pass and was played onside by Luke Shaw, who failed to step up in line with his defensive compatriots.
Rodriguez, though, still had plenty to do, cutting in front of Harry Maguire and burying a low shot past an onrushing David de Gea.
United's supporters, as expected, reacted immediately to that early setback, with the Reds, once again, being the architects of their own downfall after failing to convert a plethora of chances that came their way in the opening 45 minutes.
Below, MEN Sport has taken a close look at what some of United's supporters had to say on social media.
As you can see from the messages displayed in the tweets above, United's supporters have pointed the finger at Maguire's failure to recover and stop Rodriguez in his tracks, whilst highlighting that Burnley's blistering start to the second half was a continuous trend that United have experienced this season.
Although United did have two goals chalked off in the first half, and harshly so, they did create other opportunities that they failed to make the most of.
Raphael Varane saw a header disallowed for offside and a Josh Brownhill own-goal were both disallowed either side of Pogba's excellent opener.
