'Selfless' mum facing fifth cancer diagnosis in nine years - but vows to keep fighting

A "selfless" mother of three is facing her fifth cancer fight in nine years - but insists "you just keep going as long as you can." Tracey Hope was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014 but has since faced four other devastating diagnoses.

The former teaching assistant, from Aintree, has also had to face dealing with cirrhosis of the liver, caused by her medication, and a stroke. But the 54-year-old is determined to remain positive, despite everything.

And she is using her experience to help others, posting about her journey on Facebook to show others going through a similar situation that they are not alone. She told the Liverpool Echo: "I’ve been through it before and I will do it again.
