A Liverpool dance school is offering special 'self love' classes, aiming to help women feel confident whilst performing routines created by choreographers who have worked with some of the biggest names in music.
Based in Garston, SOS Dance is a brand on a mission to help women to believe in themselves, by using dance to boost confidence and strength. The routines are created by choreographers who work with stars including Dua Lipa, Little Mix and Lizzo, but the classes are suitable for dancers of all abilities, offering women a welcoming space to learn a new skill, feel good and make new friends.
The SOS Dance brand was originally created in London by dancer Bonnie Lister Parsons. After becoming one of the capital's most popular dance classes, the company branched out across the UK.

Abby Smyth, 31, teaches SOS Dance classes every Thursday at Topaz Dancentre on Heald Street, where she will be hosting Beyoncé-inspired classes this month. The mum-of-one works full time in marketing in addition to sharing her passion for dance in the evenings.
Explaining why she enjoys leading the classes, Abby said: "I have a full time job as a marketing executive. I love my job, but with it being predominantly computer-based, it means I don't get to move around much in my day to day life.
"I have always loved to dance since I was younger and attended a couple of dance schools. I wanted to get back into dancing to find time for myself throughout my busy life. I was searching high and low for a dance class on social media, which is where I came across SOS.
"I totally fell in love with their brand values and I attended a couple of the other SOS classes in the surrounding areas. There wasn't a local class in Liverpool, so this inspired me to start up teaching and I've never looked back! It's the best thing I've ever done for myself and my community."
SOS Liverpool classes take place every Thursday from 6.30pm to 7.30pm at Topaz Dancentre, Heald House, Heald Street, Garston. The classes are suitable for those aged over 16 and absolute beginners are welcome.
For more information and to book a class, visit the SOS Dance website. Those who have never attended a class before can get their first one free by using the code FIRSTFREESLAY.
