It's official—Selena Gomez's 'Angel' nails are the latest summer must-have manicure, joining the likes of 'glazed donut' and 'lip gloss' nails.
While blue nail trends are having a moment over on TikTok, there's something about minimal but subtly shimmery designs that we just can't get enough of—even with Hailey Bieber herself shedding her go-to chrome-covered looks for an altogether more maximalist nail look.
This is why when Selena Gomez debuted her own dainty pink, glittery mani, we just had to recreate it!
What are Selena Gomez's 'Angel' nails?
Sharing his subtle iteration of the Barbiecore nail trends, celebrity manicurist, Tom Bachik (who coincidentally also created Margot Robbie's IRL Barbie nails), took to Instagram to share Selena's new lip-oil nail-like, light pink and glitter manicure—before coining them 'Angel' nails.
As we can see, her nails feature a wash of sheer pink, iridescent glitter polish, creating a 'your nails but better' kind of vibe. Shape-wise, Selena opted for a very natural, rectangle shape, which is perfect if you're not a lover of long, cumbersome nails. From the looks of it, these are indeed Selena's actual nails, so no need to bother with extensions (unless you want to, of course).
We can see this manicure pairing perfectly with a formal glitter dress, or complimenting any of your 'Tomato Girl'-esque vacation fits. They're also low-key enough to be perfect for the office and work for pretty much any season, though especially summer.
How to recreate Selena Gomez's 'Angel' nails at home
Thankfully, with Selena's natural nail shape, this look is super easy to recreate at home, especially with Bachik doing us the ultimate favor and sharing the exact shade used.
In the post, Bachik revealed that he used his collab with Tweezerman to shape Sel's nails before going in with Apres Nails' polish shade in 'Cherub', which is part of the 'Heavenly' gel top coat collection. You can shop the collection for $69.99 at the Apres Nails store.
If you're looking for a cheaper alternative to easily recreate Selena's look though (or would rather use polishes over gel), all you need is a sheer, shimmery pink polish like these...
