Select your Leeds United XI for Wolves with Liam Cooper and Kalvin Phillips back in contention

Jesse Marsch has given his team news for Leeds United's fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Friday night and there are two big boosts for the Whites as Liam Cooper and Kalvin Phillips return to contention. Patrick Bamford appears to have come through the 45 minutes he played against Norwich City on Sunday, with Marsch stating that he'd felt 'soreness' but was still with the group expected to be involved at Molineux.

Meanwhile, Rodrigo came off after an hour against the bottom of the table side with pain in his thigh. The forward had opened the scoring for the Whites and looked on top of his game after a poor performance on Thursday night against Aston Villa so Leeds would hope to have him available against Wolves.

Marsch said he was due to train on Thursday, so a decision will likely be made late regarding his participation in the match. Another player there is a doubt over is Sunday's match-winner, Joe Gelhardt. Marsch revealed that the striker had felt some pain in his back following the game, though it was not mentioned when he had injured himself.

With Cooper and Phillips available once again, Leeds' manager will have decisions to make over how many players he's willing to play below full-capacity, given that Bamford will still not be likely to manage a full 90 minutes. The two latest returnees are therefore most likely to return to the bench, rather than to the starting line-up.
