A Wigan man threatened to turn up at his ex-girlfriend’s home after getting into an ‘altercation’ with her dad in public.
Callum Clayton, 21, and the woman were in a relationship for around 18 months but it came to an end in 2020. She got a restraining order against him, after he was convicted of battery, Bolton Crown Court heard.
On December 7 last year, he was given a suspended sentence after hiding a knife in his waistband. Just 10 days later, he rang his ex-girlfriend twice and sent her three text messages in the space of a few minutes.
