Will Michigan State return to a bowl game this year? Bill Bender of Sporting News thinks so.
Bender has released an updated batch of bowl projections in the past few days, which included Michigan State. He has the Spartans landing in the Detroit Bowl (previously known as the Quick Lane Bowl) playing against Ohio of the Mid-American Conference.
Michigan State last played in the postseason in 2021 in a Peach Bowl victory over Pitt. The Spartans have missed out on bowl games the last two years.
