In what is likely the weirdest thing you’ll see all day as a Tennessee Titans fan, there’s video of safety Kevin Byard arriving at another team’s facility (the Philadelphia Eagles), courtesy of another team’s social media.
Byard is officially a member of the Eagles after being traded for fellow safety Terrell Edmunds and two draft picks on Monday. The next day, Byard showed up at the Eagles’ facility, decked out in all green.
It’s going to take some time to get used to seeing Byard in anything but the two-tone blue after spending seven-plus years with the Titans. Here’s your first step to getting acclimated, with the next step coming when Byard actually puts on an Eagles jersey.

While it’s hard to see Byard go after everything he meant to the franchise, it was a move the Titans had to make, even with the lackluster return in draft compensation.
The writing was on the wall since the offseason that the veteran safety was unlikely to be back in 2024, and now that Tennessee appears to be going nowhere, the Titans couldn’t just let him go for nothing next offseason, especially with their need for draft picks.
On the bright side, Byard will now have a great opportunity to go get the ring he couldn’t secure in Nashville, and he’ll attempt to do so with several former Titans teammates, including A.J. Brown.
