It’s one thing to get a cool nickname, it’s another to take it to heart, and that’s exactly what former Ohio State offensive tackle Dawand Jones has done.
The “Big Thanos” moniker was partly due to his massive size at 6-foot, 8-inches and 374-pounds. Many believed that Jones would get selected early in the NFL draft, but he fell to the fourth round where the Cleveland Browns struck gold.
During this past season, Jones started 9 of 11 games when he was active, showing massive potential as he continues his career. Unfortunately a knee injury ended his year prematurely, but the future is bright.
On Sunday, Jones changed his social media profile picture to his nickname, “Big Thanos.” Check it out below!

A play on Marvel supervillain Thanos, wearing Jones’ No. 79 is the perfect fit for him. It’s pretty cool to see him really buying into his nickname.
