A number of security staff have been suspended after claims a man was beaten unconscious outside a club in Manchester's Gay Village.
Ronan Gordon, 22, alleges he was targeted by five bouncers and assaulted in an 'unprovoked' attack at Bloom nightclub last weekend.
Pictures show his face covered in blood, with bruising and swelling around his left eye.

He claims he has been left with a shattered eye socket and fractured nose - for which he will need to have an operation.
Police were called to the venue on Bloom Street in Manchester City Centre in the early hours of Saturday morning (January 22).
Nightclub bosses have since confirmed that the security staff involved have been suspended pending an investigation by GMP.
So far, no arrests have been made.
Mr Gordon said he had been enjoying a night out with friends and his partner on in the Gay Village when the incident happened.
Speaking to the M.E.N, he said: "We headed to Bloom at about 2am and everything was fine.
"I came out of the toilet and there were two bouncers that grabbed me. They just started attacking me and dragged me outside.
"Outside there were five bouncers. I don’t remember much as I was dropping in and out of consciousness. They were told to stop but they carried on."
Mr Gordon says the security staff told him that he'd assaulted another man inside the club, but neither Ronan or his friends recall this.
"I honestly think they got the wrong guy," he said.
He was taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary by police but said he decided to go home as the wait to be seen was around eight hours.
"I went straight to Salford Royal the next morning as the bleeding from my nose wasn't stopping," Mr Gordon said.
"I have fractured my nose and have to go back for an operation next week.
"I am really scared to go out. Nothing like this has ever happened to me before.
"I didn’t ever think I would go into my home town Manchester where I spend a lot of weekends enjoying myself to be beaten up by bouncers, in a well known gay bar.
"I really enjoy going out on canal street and I work in hospitality. This has made me feel scared about going back to work."
In a statement, Bloom nightclub said they do not tolerate violence of any kind, and 'strive' to provide a safe environment for their LGBTQ+ family.
"We are aware and deeply shocked by the incident that happened the morning of Saturday 22nd and we are working directly with the police to resolve this," they said.
"We take allegations such as this very seriously.
"The welfare and safety of our customers is absolutely paramount and is always our main priority.
"The security staff involved are currently suspended pending investigation so that appropriate measures can be taken.
"We strive to make Bloom nightclub a fun, welcoming and safe environment for all our LGBTQ+ family who visit us.
"We do not and won't ever tolerate violence of any kind."
A spokesperson for GMP said: "On Saturday 22 January 2022, police received a report of an earlier assault at a premises on Bloom Street, Manchester City Centre.
"An investigation is underway."
The M.E.N asked police to clarify whether they were investigating the security staff in question but they did not respond.
