A number of people have been detained after a security breach at Brisbane Airport's domestic terminal.
It is understood a number of people refused to comply with directions at a security checkpoint at the terminal on Sunday afternoon.
Those people have since been detained in a secure part of the airport.
Passengers have been ordered out of the secure part of the terminal and told they will have to be re-screened. Already loaded planes are being emptied of baggage so they can also be checked again.
Queues were long within about ten minutes of the incident, which could mean hours of delays for travellers.
