NEW YORK CITY - Oscar-winning filmmaker Pedro Almodóvar is releasing a 'fragmentary autobiography' called 'The Last Dream' this Spring. The book is a collection of short stories about Almodóvar's life and will be released September 24.
After being called to write an autobiography by his fans, Almodóvar finally delivered. The Oscar winner has made a career out of defying boundaries, his films marked by melodrama, irreverent humor, bold colors and complex narratives — and his new book will probably not be an exception.
