Secret Service issues statement on Iran’s threat toward Barron Trump

  • The U.S. Secret Service confirmed it is investigating a video broadcast by Iranian state media that threatens the life of President Donald Trump 's youngest son, Barron Trump .
  • “The U.S. Secret Service is aware of the video and investigates anything that can be perceived as a threat toward our protectees,” Secret Service spokesman Nate Herring said in a statement. “Out of concern for operational security, we do not discuss matters of protective intelligence.”
  • Broadcast on Iran 's IRGC-linked Channel 3, the video features a purported $10 million bounty on Barron Trump and details his university location and security guard positions.
  • The Iranian propaganda clip further claimed an unnamed woman bypassed Secret Service protocols to meet Barron Trump and relay private intelligence to the video's creators.
  • This escalation follows the U.S. assassination of Iran's Ayatollah Ali Khamenei at the start of the war with Iran, launched by President Donald Trump alongside Israel.
