Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has praised the team’s two goalscorers following the win over Leicester City.
The Blues recorded a 2-1 win over Leicester in the Premier League clash at the King Power Stadium on Sunday afternoon. First half goals from Vitalii Mykolenko and Mason Holgate either side of a Patson Daka strike secured the victory.
It was a first away win for Frank Lampard in his tenure as Everton boss, and a first win on the road in the league for several months. The victory moved Everton out of the relegation zone and up to 16th place, with four matches left to play.

One key player for Everton was Pickford, who made several important second-half saves to keep the away side in the lead. The Blues stopper has praised goalscorer Mykolenko, who only signed for the club in January from Dynamo Kyiv.
Speaking to TV after the game, Pickford said of Mykolenko: “He’s come in, learned English straight away, he’s a top lad and his attitude is top drawer.
“His dedication is second to none."
Another player who received praise from Pickford is Holgate, who scored his third goal of the season. Pickford says his centre-back team-mate will be “on cloud nine” following his winning goal.
Pickford said: “We won’t hear the end of that, will we? Mason will be on cloud nine after that.
“To win 2-1 is a great result but now we can’t get carried away and we must go again on Wednesday (against Watford)”.
