Second teen arrested as gardaí continue to investigate serious assault in Co Cork

Gardai have arrested a second teenager in relation to a serious assault which occurred in Cork on December 28.

The assault happened in the Glenwood Estate in Carrigaline and left a man, aged 29, fighting for his life.

He sustained injuries when he was assaulted on the road outside his home at around 5.30 pm on December and the emergency services were called to the scene.
