Second season of With Love, Meghan fails to reach Netflix’s top 1,000

The Duchess of Sussex’s latest Netflix lifestyle show failed to crack the top 1,000 most watched programmes on the platform, figures suggest, amid reports that it will not return for a third series.

The second series of With Love, Meghan ranked 1,124th most watched shows between July and December 2025, with 2m views, according to data, coming below the second season of Miraculous: Tales Of Ladybug & Cat Noir, as well as programmes several years older including Downton Abbey.

Released in August, the eight-episode show was panned by critics, with the Guardian’s two-star review describing it as “painfully contrived”, and the Times saying it was “baffling” and occupied the “sweet spot where irrelevant meets intolerable”.

The series release was followed with a “seasonal product drop” of Meghan’s As Ever brand, with her adding marmalade to her range.

The show, filmed in a rented house in Montecito, California, featured the duchess cooking, chatting and crafting with friends, including the Queer Eye star Tan France and the US model and TV personality Chrissy Teigen. Revelations included Prince Harry’s dislike of lobster, that Magic FM radio was what Meghan most missed about the UK, and that their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, “really want a cat”.

It was part of the Sussex’s reported $100m (£74m) five-year Netflix deal, which kicked off with the six-part Harry & Meghan documentary series after their exit from the royal family, with the first episode becoming the platform’s biggest documentary debut ever. Other programmes produced as part of that deal, the Heart of Invictus and Polo, struggled to gain viewers.

The couple have since announced a watered-down deal with the streaming company signing a “multi-year, first-look deal for film and television projects”.

The first series of With Love, Meghan attracted 5.3m views. The festive special – With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration – also failed to crack the top 1,000 and landed at 1,022 on the list of most-watched shows, with 2.4m views.

Page Six reported that With Love, Meghan, will not be returning for a third series, according to insiders, with Meghan reportedly calling it a “lot of work”. The website quoted one insider as saying: “It is not returning as a series. There have been conversations about holiday specials, but there’s nothing in the works yet.”

Another source said: “People will see similar cooking and crafting on Meghan’s socials for the brand, but more bite-sized.”
