A second man has faced court charged with murder after a shooting in Melbourne's southeast in July.

Trung Nguyen appeared by videolink in Melbourne Magistrates Court over the death of 36-year-old Noble Park man Tommy Loulanting on July 11 this year.

Nguyen was on bail before his arrest for the murder and his lawyer did not oppose that being revoked.

Emergency services responded to reports of a shooting in Corrigan Road, Noble Park, about 6am on July 11.

Mr Loulanting, a father of 11 who worked in the security industry, was declared dead at the scene.

Nguyen is due to face court again for a committal mention on April 27 next year, at the same time as 25-year-old Blackburn man Moweit Qian who faced court last week charged with Mr Loulanting's murder.

Prosecutors have until March to prepare a brief of evidence against the men.
