Another man, John Thomas, 38, has already been charged in connection with the death of Mr Dalziel and appeared in court in May.
He faces a charge of inflicting blunt force trauma to his head, striking him on the neck with a blade and setting alight a jacket in the property.
He is expected to go on trial later this year.
The second man, aged 57, will appear at Paisley Sheriff Court today.
Following his death last year, John Daziel's daughter paid a heartbreaking tribute to her dad, who she said had a heart of gold.
Among flowers and tributes outside his home, she wrote: “If I could write a story, it would be the greatest ever told, of a kind and loving dad who had a heart of gold.
“I could write a million pages, but still would be unable to say, just how much I love and miss you every single day.”
