A second man has been arrested in relation to an alleged assault that happened on the Luas this week.
A woman was hit by an item thrown by a man as he was getting off the tram on Tuesday morning at the Jervis Luas Stop. A man in his 20s was arrested yesterday in connection with the incident.
He has since been charged with public order offences and is due to appear before court at a later date. A garda spokeswoman said: "Gardai are continuing to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward.

"Any persons who travelled on this Luas Tuesday morning and can assist gardai with their investigation is asked to contact Store Street Garda station 01 666 8000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station."
A man in his 30s was arrested on the day of the incident and was charged for public order offences and is due to appear before court at a later date, a garda spokeswoman had confirmed previously.
