A "fault" on board led to a Jet2 flight being diverted to Manchester Airport this morning, less than a week after another plane had to divert for the same reason.
The flight from Edinburgh to Gran Canaria was forced to instead land in Manchester due to a "minor fault indication", an airline spokesperson told the MEN. The aircraft landed safely and was met by fire crews on the runway "as a precautionary measure".
A Jet2 spokesperson said: "Flight LS715 from Edinburgh to Gran Canaria followed procedure and diverted to Manchester Airport this morning, due to a minor fault indication. The aircraft landed safely and was met by emergency services as a precautionary measure.
