Former Georgia Bulldogs transfer edge rusher Samuel M’Pemba has announced his commitment to the Texas A&M Aggies reported by On3’s social media account.
This the second commitment by a Georgia transfer to the Aggies as cornerback transfer Julian Humphrey decided to go to Texas A&M earlier this month.
M’Pemba is the second defensive end Texas A&M has acquired through the portal, joining Colorado transfer Dayon Hayes, who committed last week.
Hailing from St. Louis, M’Pemba spent two seasons under Kirby Smart at Georgia. He will now transition to College Station and has three years of eligibility with him.
During his true freshman campaign in 2023, M’Pemba appeared in 11 games for the Bulldogs, recording six tackles. However, in 2024, he played in just four games and did not register any stats.
A standout recruit from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, M’Pemba was a five-star prospect and ranked as the No. 10 overall player, the No. 2 defensive end, and the No. 3 recruit in Missouri in his recruiting class. Texas A&M was his first reported visit, making this commitment a significant win for the Aggies.
