A second development application has been lodged as part of a major planned development by the Canberra Southern Cross Club.
It includes 199 residential units on the club's old pitch-and-putt course in Woden.
Units are planned to be across two buildings, of six and 13 stories.
The smaller of the buildings would have six one-bedroom units with a study, 35 two-bedroom units and 11 three-bedroom units. A lobby and a communal lounge area would also be included.
The second building would have an almost even split of one- and two-bedroom units, along with two three-bedroom dwellings, along with private courtyards or balconies.
This building would have a rooftop garden on the 13th floor, with views to the city and mountains beyond.
Proposed buildings would sit at the perimeter of the site, 50 Launceston Street, Phillip, and border Long Gully and Yarralumla creeks. They would be entered via Yamba Drive, at the far end of the site.
The buildings will share an underground parking area, for which there are 299 parking spaces planned. An extra 12 spaces, for guests, will be available along an internal driveway between the buildings.
Up to 25 trees would be removed from the site to make way for the residential buildings. They would be replaced with extensive shrubbery and new saplings.
This $65.3 million plan follows an earlier application for 140 build-to-rent units across two buildings.
At least another five applications are expected to complete the masterplan, which will include at least seven residential buildings, a cafe, large park area and visiting spaces.
Once complete, the precinct would be about 400 metres from two bus stops, including along a rapid bus route to Civic.
It will be around 600 metres from a light rail a stop if approved until Stage 2B of the transport plan.
Canberra Southern Cross Club first revealed its long-term ambitions to build up to 900 dwellings on its former pitch and putt course in late 2022.
The newest development application is open for public comment until November 22.
