The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) will begin the second half of their cost of living support payments next week.
More than eight million homes are set to receive the payment which begins rolling out from November 8 to 23. The £324 payment is the second half of the means-tested cost of living support but only those claiming certain DWP benefits will be able to claim it.
People claiming Working Tax Credits or Child Tax Credits can expect the support as long as they are not receiving any other means-tested benefits. The payment will be issued automatically between November 23 and 30 as long as those eligible meet the requirements during the qualifying period.
