Second charter flight taking Brits home from Dubai departs for UK

• The aircraft was arranged to provide a swift and secure passage for individuals unable to secure seats on regular commercial services, with a particular focus on vulnerable passengers.
• Passengers were required to pay for their passage.
• This comes as the availability of commercial flights from the Gulf has improved, with 32 such services arriving in the UK on Monday alone.
• An estimated 45,000 British citizens have departed the region since 1 March, from an initial population of over 200,000 believed to be in the Gulf at the onset of the conflict.
