Second case of potentially deadly livestock virus found in Scotland

A SECOND case of the bluetongue virus has been recorded in livestock in Scotland.

The disease, which affects ruminant livestock like sheep and cows, was first detected on Kirkmabreck Farm near Newton Stewart, in Dumfries and Galloway, on August 8.
