A coroner has been asked to decide whether a man deliberately crashed his car into a tree and then moved his mother into the driver's seat.

Ethan Grosvenor, 27, and his mother Tracee Grosvenor, 58, were travelling home together when involved in a serious crash south of Adelaide in 2022.
