The number of renters registering for properties in London is at a record high, while a rental on the mainstream market could draw as many as 20 interested parties at the moment, according to Amelia Greene, director of residential lettings at Savills.
Rents, meanwhile, are higher than ever. Last week, Mayor of London Sadiq Khan repeated his call for a rent freeze to stop people being priced out of their homes.
