Search launched for Scots teen who went missing an hour before the bells on Hogmanay

Lewis Crosbie was last seen leaving an address on Charles Street in Penicuik, Midlothian, at around 11.10pm on Saturday December 31. He has not been seen since, prompting his family to issue an appeal on social media that was later boosted by Police Scotland.

Lewis is described as 5ft 6ins in height, white and male, with short brown hair and green/blue eyes. He is of slim build and police say there are "growing concerns" for the youngster's welfare.

"He is wearing a dark green (may look black) Nike tracksuit with a black coat and black Nike trainers." They later added: "Lewis is still missing please continue to share and reach out if you know or see anything."
