A search for a man missing from his home in Co Cavan has been stood down after the discovery of a body.
Eric Byrne had been reported missing on Saturday morning and gardaí and his family were concerned for his welfare.
A garda alert was issued and a number of searches took place, including in the Lavey Lake area.

Gardaí this morning confirmed that the search has been stood down following the discovery of a man's body.
The 22-year-ol had been last seen in the Kells area of Cavan.
"We would like to thank the public and media for their assistance," a short garda statement read.
