Search And Rescue Ongoing At Osage Nation Reservation After Storm

Rescue operations after workers are trapped in tunnel collapse in Uttarkashi

Search and rescue efforts are currently underway at the Osage Nation Reservation in northeast Oklahoma following a severe storm that swept through the area. The Osage Nation Emergency Management (ONEM) and Police Department (ONPD) have teamed up with various emergency agencies to conduct search and rescue operations across the reservation.

Residents have been urged by tribal officials to refrain from using the roadways and to steer clear of damaged areas for their safety. The Osage Nation emphasized the strength of their community and their willingness to assist those in need during this challenging time.

The Osage Nation Reservation, situated within Osage County, is the residence of nearly 5,000 Osage people, as stated on the reservation's website. As the search and rescue efforts continue, the community remains united in their efforts to provide support and resources to those affected by the storm.
