Sean McVay says Bobby Brown’s knee injury ‘didn’t look good’

The Los Angeles Rams suffered a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, and they took a hit to their defensive line in the process. Bobby Brown exited Sunday’s game with a knee injury and Sean McVay revealed in his post-game presser that he doesn’t believe the team will receive a positive update on the interior defender.

“With Bobby Brown, it didn’t look good with his knee,” McVay said.

Brown first sustained an elbow injury early in the game, but he would return for the Rams. Sadly, he would then suffer a knee injury late in the fourth quarter, forcing him to be carted off of the field.

Following the departure of Greg Gaines in free agency this past offseason, Brown has emerged as the starting nose tackle for the Rams this season. Before sustaining his knee injury, Brown had tallied 13 tackles and one tackle for loss this season.

With Brown waiting for a diagnosis on his knee ailment, rookie Kobie Turner and Larrell Murchison could see increased snaps at nose tackle. And there’s a chance the Rams could make a move for another nose tackle given the lack of size the team has in the interior.

Even with McVay’s comments, we are hoping for the best when it comes to Brown’s knee injury.
