A heartfelt Sean Lock tribute made fans emotional when one of his final 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown episodes aired.
Comedian Lock died of cancer at the age of 58 in August.
Fans were overcome with emotion when new episodes of 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown returned to the small screen on Friday.
At the end of the episode,a kind tribute of the comedian was shared: “In loving memory of comedy legend Sean Lock, 1963 – 2021.”

Earlier in the evening, the official 8 Out of 10 Cats Twitter revealed it was one of Lock’s final episodes on the show.
It read: “New #CatsCountdown on @Channel4 at 9pm tonight with guests @HarryHill, @josierones, @nickmohammed… and comedy legend, the late great Sean Lock in one of his last appearances on the show.”
Social media was awash with messages from fans left in tears over the tribute to the comedy legend.
Among the comments, one person wrote: “When I saw this, my eyes filled with tears. RIP Sean Lock.”
Another added: “Bittersweet seeing Sean Lock’s last Tv appearance on @8Outof10Cats last night. The amount of hours I’ve spent recently watching his best bits on YouTube, & always in tears of laughter. Feel lucky I took the opportunity to see him live at the Bristol Comedy Garden. @comedygarden.”

Lock had a legion of fans with his high-flying comedy career.
One of his first TV appearances was back in 1993, alongside Rob Newman and David Baddiel on their signature TV show Newman And Baddiel In Pieces.
