Former Burnley midfielder Keith Treacy has revealed Sean Dyche’s view on players using social media.
Dyche was named Everton manager in January after nearly nine months out of the game following his sacking by Burnley. The 51-year-old replaced Frank Lampard.
One of his first big changes at Everton was to ban hats and snoods from training. Dyche believes there is no point in training in safety blankets when you're not allowed to play in them.

The Blues boss also told his players they must wear shin pads during training sessions. Explaining his decision, Dyche said: "This has been going round for years, and it drives me mad.
"Unless I've been out of the game for too long, you're not allowed to wear hats when you play on a Saturday, you're not allowed to wear snoods when you play on a Saturday; and you have to, by the rules, wear shin pads. It is not rocket science."
And Treacy, who played under Dyche at Burnley, has revealed the Everton manager is happy for his players to use social media as long as they do not talk about football.
"For me, when I played under Sean Dyche, he said, ‘You can have your Twitter, you can have your social media, but do not speak about football on it," he told Off The Ball.
"If you tweet about football, then I will come down on you like a tonne of bricks. I don’t know why that isn’t the case still."
