Everton manager Sean Dyche says late calls will be made on whether Seamus Coleman and Amadou Onana will return against Newcastle United.
Coleman hasn’t played since the 2-0 defeat to Manchester United earlier this month, when he picked up a hamstring injury. The Everton skipper was withdrawn in the 87th minute of the game at Old Trafford.
While Onana has also missed his side's last two games with a groin injury, before that the midfielder had been an ever-present for Everton this season.

And even though Dyche revealed both men have been "back on the grass," a decision is yet to be made on whether they will return against Eddie Howe’s side on Thursday night.
"Seamus and Amadou have been on the grass, and we will make a decision on them," the Everton manager replied when asked for an injury update.
Speaking on Wednesday afternoon, Dyche also gave the latest on Andros Townsend. The winger hasn’t played for the Blues for over a year after suffering an ACL injury in a defeat to Crystal Palace in the FA Cup in March 2022.
"Andros is still a bit away but has been on the grass with the sports science team," he said. "We are just easing him back into a return-to-training programme."
