Assistant US Attorney Emily Johnson is currently arguing for the detention of Sean “Diddy” Combs during a hearing in federal court presided over by Judge Robyn Tarnofsky. Combs has recently pleaded not guilty to charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.
Johnson has emphasized that Combs should remain in custody due to being labeled a “serial abuser and a serial obstructor.” Pretrial services have also recommended detention for Combs. Johnson highlighted that numerous witnesses have personally witnessed Combs’ violent behavior towards women and the resulting injuries they have suffered. Additionally, Johnson pointed out Combs’ access to weapons as a concerning factor.
