Two new lawsuits were filed against Sean 'Diddy' Combs on Monday, alleging sexual assault incidents that occurred in 2005 and 2008. The first lawsuit accuses Combs of drugging and sexually assaulting a 10-year-old boy in a New York City hotel room in 2005. The second lawsuit involves a 17-year-old who claims he was assaulted during an audition for the reality TV series 'Making the Band' in 2008.
Combs' legal team has denied the allegations, stating their confidence in the facts and the judicial process. They accused the plaintiffs' lawyer of seeking publicity through these claims. Combs, currently incarcerated in a New York City jail, has pleaded not guilty to federal sex trafficking charges.
The 10-year-old boy, an aspiring actor and rapper, was allegedly given a drug-laced soda by an associate of Combs during an audition. The lawsuit claims the boy was sexually assaulted by Combs and threatened not to disclose the incident. In the second lawsuit, the 17-year-old contestant alleges being coerced into sexual acts by Combs and a bodyguard during the audition.
Both lawsuits were filed under New York City's Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Act, allowing survivors to bring legal action even if the statute of limitations has passed. These lawsuits are part of a series of legal actions against Combs, with accusers claiming sexual assault incidents over the past two decades.
