The children of Sean Combs a.k.a. P Diddy children have released a joint statement, their first since their father was arrested in September.
In a post shared to Instagram on Tuesday (October 22 U.S. time), Combs’ eldest child Quincy, 33, wrote: “The past month has devastated our family. Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false narratives that have spiralled into absurdity on social media. We stand united, supporting you every step of the way.”
He concluded the post, “We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family. WE MISS YOU & LOVE YOU DAD.”
The caption accompanied a photo of the family, which included Combs‘ other children Justin, 30, Christian, 26, Chance, 18, and twins Jessie and D’Lila, 17, all of whom were included as collaborators on the post.

Quincy is the son of late actor and model Kim Porter from a previous relationship — he was adopted by Combs following Porter’s death in 2018. Porter’s death was determined to have been caused by pneumonia.
Combs and Porter later had son Christian and their twin daughters.
Meanwhile Justin is the child of Combs and stylist Misa Hylton, and daughter Chance came from his relationship with internet personality Sarah Chapman.
In October 2022, the rapper welcomed his youngest child, daughter Love, with model Dana Tran.
The family’s joint statement comes one week after Combs‘ mother Janice Small Combs slammed the “public lynching” of her son.
“I come to you today as a mother that is devastated and profoundly saddened by the allegations made against my son, Sean Combs. It is heartbreaking to see my son judged not for the truth, but for a narrative created out of lies,” she began, per PEOPLE.
“To bear witness what seems to be like a public lynching of my son before he has had the opportunity to prove his innocence is a pain too unbearable to put into words. Like every human being, my son deserves to have his day in court, to finally share his side, and to prove his innocence.”
She went on to acknowledge that her son has “made mistakes in the past,” including the shocking 2016 surveillance footage that emerged in May which showed the rapper attacking his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.
“Sometimes, the truth and a lie become so closely intertwined that it becomes terrifying to admit one part of the story, especially when that truth is outside the norm or is too complicated to be believed,” she said.
“This is why I believe my son’s civil legal team opted to settle the ex-girlfriend’s lawsuit instead of contesting it until the end, resulting in a ricochet effect as the federal government used this decision against my son by interpreting it as an admission of guilt.”
Combs is currently being held in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn after being denied bail. He will most likely remain there until his trial over charges of racketeering and sex trafficking begins in May.
