It's been a cracking few days for Seamus Power. First, he took home the Bermuda Championship. Then, he collected his prize winnings of over a million dollars. And now, he's had a song sung in his honour by the Dropkick Murphys.
Power finished on 19-under par on Sunday evening just a single stroke ahead of second-placed Thomas Detry. The victory marks Power's second win in a little over a year, having last tasted success at the 2021 Barbasol Championship.
Since clinching the title, Power has been congratulated by the likes of Shane Lowry and Leona Maguire. You can now add the Dropkick Murphys to the list, as they took to social media to post a song in Power's honour.

The group reworked the famous Irish folk song 'The Wild Rover' in Power's honour. The lyrics pay tribute to the Déise man's extraordinary win and predict big things to come for the Irishman in the future.
The American band have strong Irish roots and their Celtic musical themes have proven to be a major hit on these shores over the past couple of decades. Their biggest hit is arguably the 2005 release 'I'm Shipping up to Boston,' a song which has featured on the soundtrack of the 2006 film 'The Departed.'
'The Notorious' Conor McGregor also used the song for his entrance before facing Max Holloway in Boston nine years ago.
