Seamus Power has hole-in-one and two hole-outs in sensational 63

Seamus Power had a hole-in-one and two hole-outs on the way to a sensational 63 to vault into contention at World Wide Technology Championship in Mexico.

The Waterford man, fresh off winning last week's Bermuda Championship, is into the top five at the PGA Tour event.

Rounds of 67 and 67 left Power well off the pace heading into the third round of the low-scoring event.

The 35-year-old got off to the perfect start when birdieing the first hole before picking up another shot on the par-five seventh hole.

But Power's round came alive when he found the bottom of the cup with a gap wedge on the 151-yard par-three eighth.

If that wasn't enough Power went on to hole out from the fairway for another eagle on the par-four 11th hole.

Power, who has stated his ambition to make next year's European Ryder Cup team, then sensationally holed a greenside bunker shot for birdie at 14.

He then picked up another shot on 17 to close out a bogey-free eight-under-par 63 and jump up the leaderboard.

Power is on 15-under-par ahead of the final round but seven shots off leader Russell Henley who will take a six-shot lead at 22-under-par into the final round.
