A lot can happen between now and the end of the 2022 NFL draft, but at the moment the Seahawks’ best option to start at QB Week 1 is Geno Smith.
Smith played quite well for a backup this past season when Russell Wilson went down with a finger injury for a month. This morning Smith shared his 2021 highlight reel on Twitter.

Smith displayed an excellent rapport with D.K. Metcalf in his three starts. It took a few games but he also eventually got into a rhythm with Tyler Lockett.
Coach Pete Carroll says the team wants to re-sign Smith, who will become a free agent in two days.
