Seahawks safety Jamal Adams made a long-awaited return to the field on Monday night against the Giants, having not played in a game in 385 days after suffering a torn quadriceps tendon which ended his ‘22 season early.
His return was unfortunately short-lived, however, as he sustained a head injury on just his ninth snap back in action. Adams was placed in concussion protocol and quickly ruled out for the game.
When going to get examined for a possible concussion, a frustrated Adams could be seen shouting at the league’s unaffiliated neurotrauma consultant along the sidelines. Two members of Seattle’s training staff could be seen holding back the disgruntled safety as he shouted at the UNC.

Shortly after being examined for a concussion, Adams was taken back to the locker room, where he was ruled out for the game.
Adams sustained the head injury early into the first quarter after attempting to tackle quarterback Daniel Jones, who ended up hitting the 27-year-old in the head with his knee. Adams looked shaken up while being helped off the field by the Seahawks’ medical staff.
