Seahawks: Breaking down their remaining outside options at QB in 2022

In his heart of hearts, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll wants his quarterback to be a point guard type, which is why we believed Derek Carr made the most sense after the Russell Wilson trade. Recent events have put that potential trade scenario to rest, but other options have since presented themselves.

The latest reporting suggests Carroll is looking for an experienced, veteran quarterback. So for now we’ll assume that he’s not going to wait until the 2022 NFL draft to find his QB1 to replace Wilson – and that he doesn’t have the patience for Drew Lock to develop into one.
