KOPPAL: Thursday midnight at Sahitya Bhavan in Koppal witnessed a rare scene - a crowd of about 2,000 watched 'Sampattige Savaal', a play authored by veteran playwright late PB Dhuttargi.
The drama was also made into a feature film in which thespian Dr Rajkumar was the hero. It was a mega hit movie then. Journalists, under the aegis of Koppal Media Club (KMC), chose it to stage on National Journalists' Day. From farmers to seers, thinkers, children and youths watched the play.
