‘Screwdriver gang’ member held in Noida after exchange of fire

GREATER NOIDA: A member of the infamous screwdriver gang, carrying a bounty of Rs 20,000 on his head, has been arrested after a brief exchange of fire near the zero point on the Yamuna Expressway, police said.

The gang has several cases of robbery and assault registered against its members in Delhi, UP and Rajasthan. It would offer lift to people, attack them using a screwdriver and rob them or take them to an ATM kiosk and force them to withdraw money.
