The Ohio State wide receiver room is already one of the best in the country and it looks like it will continue that way with the additions being made in the 2024 recruiting class.
Already in the fold was five-star Florida receiver Jeremiah Smith. On Tuesday, Indiana five-star Mylan Graham committed to the Buckeyes as well.
Both have a skill set that would fit anywhere in the country and together will form a tandem that will be difficult to cover.
Again.
Graham stands 6 feet, 1 inch and weighs 170 pounds. He has some of the high-quality traits that you look for in a receiver. Here is my scout’s view of what to expect from the newest member of Zone 6 after breaking down his junior season.
Great feet
Just in case you were wondering if Mylan Graham (@MylanGraham) was still good at football…
6 receptions/185 yards/1 TD (and that TD was this 90-yarder).

Analysis
Footwork is so important from the position, and Graham shows that he has some very good feet. He uses it to his advantage and often gets defenders to take bad angles because of it.
Shifty

Analysis
Graham’s feet play into a part of this, but he glides across the field. He’s able to change direction extremely easily and it is not easy to corral.
Elite speed

Analysis
Watching his tape, Graham’s speed sticks out immediately. His first highlight is a short pass that he takes 90-plus yards to the house. He can make an electric play from anywhere on the field, and most defenders have a tough time running with him.
Route running

Analysis
Graham isn’t the best in this department, and it has to do a lot with the attributes above. He hasn’t needed to develop this part of his game due to his high-level athleticism. There is no one better in the business to teach than offensive coordinator Brian Hartline, so expect this area of his game to improve with time.
Vision
5⭐️ WR Mylan Graham commits to the #Buckeyes. We’ve been holding onto this news for a while. #OhioState got a really good one! #INPreps pic.twitter.com/UA0w2jgh9F

Analysis
It wouldn’t surprise me to hear that Graham used to play some running back, because he has to vision to do so. He sees the field extremely well, especially on cut-back lanes across the field. Graham uses this part of his game to make an impact in the next part of his game that sticks out.
Big time returner

Analysis
It’s been since 2010 since Ohio State has returned a kickoff for a score, and 2014 for a punt. Graham will have a chance to break that with his ability and unfortunately, there wasn’t a return shared on Twitter. The vision plays a big part and the speed is another. He could very well play a big role on special teams from day one and then make his receiving mark in Year 2 and beyond.
