A scout leader, a football coach and a Chinese restaurant waiter were among the sex offenders and paedophiles who were unmasked this year.
Among the other sickening perverts brought to justice at Liverpool Crown Court during 2022 were a man who described himself as a "nonce paedo", a "monster" karate instructor, a woman who arranged the rape and sexual abuse of a young girl and a dad who said he was "100 per cent paedo". Meanwhile, several school teachers appeared in the dock after committing depraved crimes.
