People didn't hold back when asked who was the worst Prime Minister of their lifetimes, and why.
Two names in particular kept cropping up again and again - Margaret Thatcher and the present incumbent Boris Johnson.
Mrs Thatcher has long been an object of hostility in Liverpool because of her policies in the 1980s, while Mr Johnson, meanwhile, has rarely been out of the headlines since becoming PM and started the new year embroiled in "Partygate" revelations.

By contrast, other PMs within living memory, such as John Major, Gordon Brown, David Cameron and Theresa May barely rate a mention, apart from blanket dismissals of all recent PMs.
