A player from Liverpool dominated The Chase on tonight's episode - landing himself a round of applause than Mark Labbett.
Bradley Walsh welcomed four players to the ITV quiz show on tonight's episode. Colin, Gerri, Elena and James took on chaser Mark in hopes of winning a cash prize.
Liverpudlian player James was last to play on the show. The housing officer said that he does quite a bit of quizzing as a hobby. He explained that he played in a Liverpool league with his team Parmy Army. He has been doing it for five years.

James impressed the nation with his speedy and accurate answers. Fans and the chaser praised him massively for his gameplay.
In true quizzer style, James fired his way through the cash builder round as he rapidly answered 11 questions correctly. Chaser Mark remained speechless as he came head-to-head with the player. Instead, he just applauded. Bradley said: "That never happens!"
The Chaser said: "That's the best I have seen in over five years." James said: "Coming from Mark that's a big compliment."
Mark offered a whopping £62,000 as the highest offer. But James made his decision and opted for the middle offer of £11,000 which he had accumulated in the cashbuilder round.
Fans on Twitter were more than impressed with what they were seeing. Ellie said: "Mate this fella should be a chaser #TheChase."
Chris said: "#TheChase Best player I’ve ever seen !!!! Hope he gets back and wins big." Meanwhile, Elizabeth said: "#TheChase Wow! Amazing. Best player I've seen in this. This is a great team. Totally deserve to win."

It was a very close call as the chaser faced several pushbacks. But with four more questions to go Mark ran out of time and the team celebrated their win.
Bradley said: "Brilliant that!" Mark added: "These are the games I live for. You absolutely earnt the money, well done guys."
