STAFF at Edinburgh University have been warned about “personally threatening behaviour,” with anyone accused of “intimidating conduct” potentially being reported to the police as five weeks of strikes at the institute commence.

Members of the University and Colleges Union (UCU) will not return to work until October 30 as they have begun a five-week strike as part of a long-running dispute over budget cuts and compulsory redundancies.
