Brian, 75, was born in Dundee and went onto star in huge productions like Mel Gibson's Braveheart, being the first actor to portray Hannibal Lecter in Manhunter, and most recently taking centre stage as Logan Roy in HBO's Succession.
Famous faces and fans soon rallied in the comments to share their delight on Lulu's pic of the two.

In an excerpt from Cox's new autobiography, he reveals he passed on iconic roles in Game of Thrones and other series.
Brian said: "Game of Thrones went on to be a huge success and everybody involved earned an absolute fortune, of course. But when it was originally offered the money was not all that great, shall we say.
"Plus I was going to be killed off fairly early on, so I wouldn’t have had any of the benefits of the long-term effects of a successful series where your wages go up with each passing season."
In early 2022, Lulu revealed she had made drastic health changes after getting a shocking result from the doctors regarding high cholesterol levels.
The star admitted that she threw away ice-cream from her freezer and stopped putting butter on sandwiches as well as starting to include cholesterol-lowering foods as part of her everyday diet.
